Hi Guys,
I hope you had a relaxing holiday with the people you love! I was lucky enough to spend almost a month in California with my family. Great times...
First things first, let me catch you up on what happened with the songwriting contest! I spent 4 days in early December traveling to Nebraska to re-record "Changing My Ways". The people who are organizing the campaign and recorded my song were so fun; I really like the end result they came up with, and I hope to have it up on my website in the coming weeks... They're still planning events this Spring and the winners of the contest will get to do live performances or radio spots. I'm really looking forward to going back and seeing where the whole TUNE campaign is headed.
As for the rest of my life, I'm currently working toward making connections for places to share my music. My energies are focused on connecting to ministries and universities, where I feel I'll have the best opportunity to not only perform, but bring people into the experience behind the songs. I've got a few people I'm talking with, but nothing set in stone yet. Please keep me in your prayers as I pursue this avenue; I'm trusting that the Lord has a bigger purpose in all of this. And if you know of another ministry I should contact, please let me know!
I guess that's all for now. As soon as some more solid dates and events are scheduled, I'll be sure to keep you up to date!
Blessings,
Marijke Jane
